This week marks the end of an era as we say goodbye to one of the state's longest serving school board members.

But, before she steps down after nearly a quarter of a century of serving our community, two of our newest and youngest board members invite her to take part in an exclusive interview.

School Board member Derek Barrs, District 1

Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Derek Barrs as the District 1 School Board Member at Flagler Schools on October 30.

Mr. Barrs filled the vacant seat of outgoing School Board Member, Sally Hunt.
