What is FortifyFL?

FortifyFL is a suspicious activity reporting tool that allows anyone to instantly relay information to law enforcement and school officials. 

Who can use FortifyFL?

Students, staff, families, and members of the community can use the FortifyFL app to report school safety concerns anonymously and easily.

Why was FortifyFL developed?

FortifyFL was developed by the Florida Legislature in the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act. It is a critical tool to ensure that all Florida schools are safe environments where students and educators can experience learning without fear.

What happens when a report is made?

The app will send information to threat assessment teams, including school resource officers. Some tips will be directed immediately to 911. An example of this would be if a student had been seen placing a gun in a backpack.

How can I get the FortifyFL app on my phone?
