About the Instructor

My name is Edyta Wituszynska. I am originally from Poland, where I learned and played tennis recreationally. I studied at the Academy of Physical Education in Krakow as a PE teacher and sports trainer. My dream was always to teach and coach sports, especially to children.

I came to the United States in 1992, and advanced my dream by working with children and continuing to improve my tennis skills. Over the past 10 years I have been playing competitively through numerous local and USTA leagues,
as well as social recreational tennis. My fondness for working with children and my love for the game, makes me a very dedicated and passionate tennis instructor.

I have the ability to teach children tennis combining warmth, patience, encouragement and support, with an enthusiastic, energetic and fun approach. I am PTR Certified Instructor with six years of coaching experience. I am also the USTA Local Youth Play Coordinator for Volusia and Flagler counties.

My other interests include working out, swimming, snow skiing, dancing, live music, and travel. My daughter Julia has played tennis since she was five years old, and she played #1 doubles on her high school varsity team.
