Get ready for a fantastic 2025-26 school year! All Flagler Schools families are required to complete the Annual Registration form for all students in grades Pre-K - 12 every year.
Flagler Schools proudly announces the release of the 2024-2025 assessment results, showcasing the district’s continued commitment to academic excellence and student growth. These scores reflect the hard work of students, teachers and staff, and demonstrate ongoing progress in learning across the district.
The Flagler Schools Board unanimously approved the selection of the two newest Principals for Flagler Schools at their monthly board meeting tonight. The Board signed off on Flagler Schools Superintendent LaShakia Moore's recommended appointments of Mike Rinaldi as the next principal of Matanzas High School (MHS) and Katie Hansen as the next principal of Buddy Taylor Middle School (BTMS).
Free meals are available to children this summer.
Flagler Schools is proud to announce that Matanzas High School has been
recognized by Solution Tree as a Promising Practices Professional Learning Community
(PLC) at Work® for its initial success in raising student achievement through collaborative,
data-driven instruction.
The Florida Department of Education announced Brandy Nicole Anderson, a teacher at Indian Trails Middle School in Flagler County, as one of five finalists for the 2026 Florida Teacher of the Year. The state finalists were chosen from 76 district teachers of the year.
